# Referrals

How the Referral Program Works

Springboard offers a referral program that allows students to earn a $250 bonus for referring friends. Here’s how it works:

- When you share your referral link with a friend, they will receive $250 off their first month of tuition *if they enroll on the Monthly or Upfront payment plan*.
- You will receive $250 back onto the credit card you used to enroll once your friend completes 10 days in their course (starting from their cohort start date) *if your friend enrolls on the Monthly or Upfront payment plan*.

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for the referral bonus, you must:

- Be an active student or graduate of a Springboard course.
- Not have received a refund for your course. If you have ever received a refund, you are not eligible to earn referral bonuses for that course.

Referral Limits

There is a cap on the total amount you can earn from referrals:

- The maximum referral earnings you can receive is equal to the amount you have paid for your course directly to Springboard via a credit or debit card. We cannot issue a referral bonus to your loan balance, and we cannot send direct payments for referral bonuses.
- Example: If you have paid $499 for one month of your course, the maximum you can earn in referral bonuses is $499.

Terms and Conditions

You can view the full Terms and Conditions of the referral program [here](https://ddf46429.springboard.com/uploads/resources/1702393474_Referral_Program_Terms_Revision_121223.pdf).

Locating Your Referral Code

Your referral code becomes available when you reach the two-week mark in your course. To find it:

1. Log in to your Springboard account.
2. Click on the menu in the top-right corner.
3. Select **“Earn $250”** from the dropdown.
4. Your unique referral page will appear—share this link with your friends!

When your friend copies the promo code from this page and applies it during their course enrollment, they will receive $250 off their first month.

Receiving Your Referral Bonus

You should receive your $250 referral bonus back onto the credit card you used to enroll once your friend completes 10 days in their course. If you believe you should have received a bonus but haven’t, email support@springboard.com for assistance.

Forgot to Use a Referral Code?

If your friend forgot to apply your referral code at checkout, simply email support@springboard.com with their details. We will manually verify the referral and apply the bonus accordingly.
