Mentoring in a Course Family
A Course Family is an aggregate of all courses under the same career track umbrella. Meaning all course offerings in a specific career track are combined into one course family. Ex: University Software Engineering courses, Foundation to Core Software Engineering courses, and Software Engineering Career Track are under the Software Engineering Family.
What it means for you:
- Your max capacity can be allocated and matched with students in any of the courses within the course family you mentor in. See this program overview for more information on our offerings
- You can move your max capacity to any course families you are mentoring in
- You don't need to (and cannot) move your capacity at a course-specific level (UP vs B2C)
- You can be qualified to mentor in any course family specific offering
- In order to be matched with students you need to complete your skills for all courses in your profile
